Fall-proof vertical glazing in categories C3 and C1 is not used to support beam loads. Category C3 denotes floor-to-ceiling glazing with a projecting load-bearing beam. Category C1 refers to railing cladding mounted at specific points on at least two opposite sides, e.g.
