BALARDO wave
BALARDO wave – CURVED ALL-GLASS RAILINGS IN STEEL AND ALUMINIUM VERSIONS
Where contoured and curved shapes essentially determine the building architecture, BALARDO wave from GLASSLINE offers efficient and flexible all-glass railing solutions. With its curved floor and handrail profiles, the system works well with elegantly curved building geometries and uses the aesthetic properties of the glass to turn these into highly transparent railings. Whether in public or private buildings, whether indoors or outdoors, the sophisticated design of BALARDO wave creates an atmosphere flooded with light.

BALARDO wave is available in STEEL and ALUMINIUM versions. All profiles in both materials are curved individually with bending radii from 650 mm (alu) and 760 mm (steel). They are also cut to length individually.
PROFILE OVERVIEW
The alu system profiles are available with a polished and anodised or untreated surface:
"Natural" untreated
E1EV1 polished/anodised
In addition to the aluminium profiles, GLASSLINE also offers a BALARDO wave steel support profile made from galvanised special-purpose steel, which can also be attached flexibly from above or from the side and can either be screwed or welded onto the substructure.</e>
Curved handrails are supplied with all individually curved profiles. The following handrails are available for selection for both the alu and steel system types (max. profile length 2000 mm):

UNIQUE INSTALLATION PRINCIPLES
BALARDO wave steel made from special-purpose steel impresses with its clamp installation principle, which reduces installation time significantly, even in the case of curved elements. Thanks to the general supervisory test certificate (AbP), the arduous and cost-intensive procedure of gaining approval for each individual case (ZIE) is no longer required in many applications. The LGA type test involves all structural calculations for the system and tests the dynamic load-bearing behaviour to ensure long-term durability by means of comprehensive test series.
In the case of BALARDO wave alu made from high-grade aluminium, an innovative installation principle guarantees quick and easy installation. The profiles for direct attachment to the building structure are supplied with the required surface finish including drill holes. Another key advantage: BALARDO wave alu can be installed entirely from the inside and, like BALARDO wave steel , has a general supervisory test certificate.
